Women in Film Vice President - Arizona State University 2024-2025
Being elected vice president of Women in Film at ASU has been an incredible honor and one of the most rewarding experiences of my college journey. Helping this organization grow and expand has been truly fulfilling, as it provides a much-needed platform for collaboration, celebration, and creative expression within a safe and inclusive filmmaking space. Hosting our biweekly meetings has been amazing—we’ve created a space where ASU filmmakers can come together, share ideas, and support one another, regardless of experience or background. Watching students build connections, gain confidence, and push boundaries in their projects is inspiring. I’m proud to be part of a group that uplifts women and LGBTQ+ voices in the industry while fostering a community that thrives on creativity and mutual respect.
Student Body President- Millennium High School 2020-2021
Being elected as the student body president was a significant accomplishment that I take great pride in. It represents not only my personal achievement but also the trust and support of my fellow students. Despite the obstacles of Covid-19, I embraced the opportunity to lead and serve my fellow students during these uncertain times. I worked tirelessly to ensure that their voices were heard, their concerns were addressed, and their needs were met, even in the absence of in-person interactions. By leveraging technology and virtual platforms, I organized engaging online events, facilitated virtual meetings, and fostered a sense of community despite the physical distance. Overcoming these challenges not only demonstrates my ability to thrive in adverse situations but also highlights my determination to fulfill my responsibilities as a leader. It is a testament to my dedication, perseverance, and commitment to making a positive impact, regardless of the circumstances.
